Softball Tryouts

Softball tryouts will be held next Thursday and Friday, May 8 and 9 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. You will only need to attend one day of tryout. We will let you know if you need to come on Friday. You must have a physical before you tryout. You will need to turn in your physical to Coach Simpson no later than Wednesday, May 7. If you have any questions you can see Coach Simpson at school or email at lsimpson@hinds.k12.ms.us.

	Congratulations to Ms. Paula Mayfield!
In addition to being named Terry High School Teacher of the Year and also Hind's County School District's Teacher of the Year, Ms. Mayfield was recently named the Top Teacher in the 2nd Congressional District. On April 25th, she was also named as the Alternate Teacher of the Year for the entire state of Mississippi!!!!

The Terry Tennis team completed its historic season yesterday in the 1st round of the team state playoffs. Although the team fell to Brandon, Austin Sartin defeated Brandon's boys singles player for the 2nd time improving his individual record to 10-3. The team finished with an overall record of 6-5 and won the Division 6-5A team championship.

Congratulations to the THS Golf Team

as they qualified for the State Golf Tournament May 7th and 8th in Tupelo.

Luke Cosby was our low scorer with a 79.
